P4S was with a United Nations (UN) team in Guinea-Bissau developing a project based on the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) tool.
June’s first week started full of new experiences and projects. It took two elements of the P4S team directly to Guinea-Bissau.
What for?
As a part of an offsite of a UN team, they were developing a feedback and development session based on the MBTI tool. The main challenges were to promote a respect and tolerance environment, understanding, in a positive and constructive way, the differences between people. The starting point was the awareness of the differences between the profiles and the way they act in different situations, their motivations, strengths and areas of development, and, from that, it were addressed the themes of Communication, Conflict and Teamwork.
In addition to the group sessions, it was also possible to be individually with each team member, which allowed them to consolidate learning and set development goals.

What did they bring?
The richness of a new experience and the certainty that, in any part of the world, tolerance and understanding for difference effectively promotes the development of better teams and organizations.
