David Ferreira Alves

david1_lowAfter my academic life in Porto, except for one year I spent in Wales, I moved to Lisboa to join Procter & Gamble. These first five years of my professional life allowed me to get to know the marketing and sales world; the ambitious goals, the release of new products and the conquest of new markets. After the “Fairy Lunch” at the Vasco da Gama bridge, I entered the telecommunications world. I joined Optimus’ sales and, briefly, marketing teams and soon returned to Porto. Once again, different teams and set a new set of challenges. Will and the characteristic energy startup companies have, shaped the fifteen years of learning and growing Optimus and Sonaecom have given me. Now, I am at Sonae MC with a very experienced team and a great passion to face current and future challenges in such a competitive market.

P4S comes with the desire to know the people and teams I come across and work with better. MBTI allows one to develop their self-conscience and understanding differences, develop team plans and work with a greater success rate. In a non-executive rola, I and P4S, seek to share these techniques with other organizations and individuals to make our country more competitive.
