When I finished Psychology degree (FPCEUP), with Clinical speciality and master, I began my professional path with psychological consultation and intervention on organizational context.
In this last one, I worked with several companies on Food, Automotive Retail, Pharmaceuticals areas as well as Associations and Public Entities, through training processes and personal and career development. Multidisciplinarity and adaptability required on times of quick changes allowed the development of team management and leadership skills.
By experiencing and get to know different areas some common point were brought to light, namely the urgent need of developing the individual and group potential, as well as the crucial role that self-knowledge plays on effective teams and leaders. With HR consulting I took those principals to organizations under several formats like teambuilding, team development and Behavioral and Organizational management training.
Nowadays, at People for Success – P4S, I still apply many of the clinical and psychometric psychology know-how on organizational context. But now I have some remarkable tools to help me: MBTI (Tipos Psicológicos) e EQ-i 2.0/EQ360 (Inteligência Emocional).
I believe that when we find how to develop our potential and maximize our capacities, we can have more fulfilled workers, more effective organizations and, after all, happier people!
